How is BirthdayFreebies.com different from other birthday offer web sites?
Other sites simply tell you the name of a business that offers a birthday deal. But they don't tell you where that business is located. Also, sometimes birthday deals may vary from store to store, if a business has multiple locations. They don't tell you that either.
At BirthdayFreebies.com we eliminate all the confusion. Users are able to isolate their birthday freebies search to the area of the country that they live in (using their zip code). Also, our birthday listings will tell you the business name, the business contact information, the birthday deal they are offering and the restrictions of that deal (if any). And if the business has a Web site, we supply a link to it.
How BirthdayFreebies.com came to be
On December 30, 2000, my wife and I went out to eat at our local (Duluth, MN) Red Lobster for my birthday. My wife was bold and asked the waitress if Red Lobster offered any free gifts to people celebrating birthdays in their restaurant. The answer was yes - a FREE sundae. Later that night, my wife went to one of our local video stores to pick out a movie. She called me from the store to tell me that I could get a FREE video rental if I came up to the store myself. Well, that started me thinking, "What if I had planned ahead, before my birthday, to find more places that offer FREE stuff on my birthday." What I found out was that many companies do offer FREE stuff! Not only on the day of your birthday, but also the week and sometimes even the month of your birthday.
Then I thought, what if there was a Web site that listed all of these places to get birthday freebies? The rest is history. BirthdayFreebies.com was born.
